Scenically situated in Cork Harbour, the club has played host to major Amateur and Professional Championships over the years, including the Irish Open, Irish Professional Championships, Irish Close Championships and the National Finals.
The Doneraile Golf course is a 9 hole Parkland course where the Par is 68.There are seven par 4 and two par 3 holes. Large lime trees are a feature of a number of the holes. Water comes in to play at the sixth.
